What does the Bible say about deliverance by grace?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that deliverance comes through Jesus Christ and is rooted in God's grace.

The Apostle Paul expresses his anguish in Romans 7:24, identifying himself as a 'wretched man' in need of deliverance from sin's hold. He answers his own question in verse 25, proclaiming that deliverance is achieved through Jesus Christ our Lord. This illustrates that regardless of our struggle against sin, it is by grace that we are ultimately rescued. The law exposes our sinful condition, but it is grace that provides the remedy through Christ's work on the cross.
