What does the Bible say about encountering Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that encountering Jesus transforms lives, as seen in Saul's conversion in Acts 26:15.

In Acts 26:15, we see how a direct encounter with Jesus transformed Saul, a hardened sinner and persecutor of Christians, into Paul, one of the greatest apostles. This transformation illustrates the power of God in the gospel. Just as Saul was delivered from his sins and given a new purpose, so too can every sinner be changed by the voice of the Son of God. The power of sin and even the darkness set against us is overcome when we meet Jesus in a real and profound way.
