What does the Bible say about enduring trial?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God does not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and He provides a way to escape every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).

According to 1 Corinthians 10:13, no temptation or trial that confronts us is uncommon to humanity; God remains faithful in such times. He does not permit us to face trials beyond our ability to endure, instead providing a path to bear them. This assurance reminds us that in our moments of overwhelming despair, we are not alone—our experiences are shared by many faithful servants of God throughout history, such as Elijah and Job, who faced severe trials but found strength in God's faithfulness.
