What does the Bible say about Esther as an intercessor?

Answered in 1 source

Esther serves as a vivid representation of Christ's intercession for His people.

In the account of Esther, she stands as a unique intercessor who risks her life to plead for the salvation of her people. Mordecai's plea to Esther reflects our need for an advocate before a holy God. Just as Esther boldly approached the king, we are invited to approach Christ, who intercedes for us as our High Priest. The willingness of Esther to say, 'If I perish, I perish,' illustrates the sacrificial nature of Christ's mission—He laid down His life for our reconciliation with God. Esther’s actions foreshadow the ultimate act of intercession by Christ, who stands before the Father on our behalf, covering our sins with His sacrifice.
