What does the Bible say about faith and acceptance with God?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Christ is essential for acceptance with God, as it is through His redeeming blood that we are justified.

The Bible emphasizes that true religion is centered on effectual acceptance with God through faith in Christ. Hebrews 11 illustrates that faith is not just belief but the conviction that one is accepted by God through the sacrifice of Jesus. Outside of Christ, there is only condemnation, but in Him, we find eternal blessing and the righteousness of God is imputed to believers. As Paul wrote in Philippians 3:9, we are to be found 'in Him, not having my own righteousness, but that which is through faith in Christ'. This highlights the necessity of Christ's redemptive work for our acceptance with God.
