What does the Bible say about faith and dying in faith?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that dying in faith means trusting in God's promises and believing in Him, even when those promises are not yet fulfilled.

Hebrews 11:13 indicates that all those who died in faith did so without having received the promises but were assured of them, embracing them wholeheartedly. This means that true faith involves looking forward to God's promises, seeing them afar off, and being firmly persuaded of their eventual fulfillment, even before experiencing them. Dying in faith is therefore an expression of having lived by faith, trusting that God’s sovereign will and purpose will ultimately lead His people to the fulfillment of His promises in eternity.
