What does the Bible say about faith in Christ and suffering?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that faith and obedience to Christ do not exempt believers from life's storms.

In Mark 4, the disciples were obeying Jesus when they faced a perilous storm. Their faith did not insulate them from trouble; rather, it placed them directly in the path of it. The reality is that God's people will go through trials, even when following His commands. This reflects that while faith brings assurance, it does not abolish the challenges of life; instead, it provides the means to endure through those challenges by resting in Christ.
