What does the Bible say about faith's endurance?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that faith endures by looking to Jesus as the founder and perfecter of our faith.

In Hebrews 12, we are reminded that our faith is sustained by looking to Jesus, who is the founder and perfecter of our faith. This imagery of endurance comes from the understanding that like the faithful witnesses before us, we are to lay aside every weight and sin. This enables us to run the race set before us with focus and determination, knowing that our endurance stems from Christ's own endurance through His suffering and into His glory. Our faith, therefore, is not based on our performance, but rather on the finished work of Christ that gives us assurance and hope.
