What does the Bible say about falling from the grace of God?

In Hebrews 12:14, the scripture instructs believers to follow peace with all men and holiness, stating that without these, no one will see the Lord. To fall from grace is to turn away from relying on Christ and instead cling to something other than Him for assurance or salvation. This act of clinging to anything apart from Christ, such as our own good works or adherence to the law, leads to spiritual ruin. The grace of God keeps us anchored in Christ, who is our peace and holiness, and thus, if we remain focused on Him, we will not fall from grace.
