What does the Bible say about fear during troubles?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that believers should not fear but keep their eyes on Christ, who is in control of all situations.

Throughout scripture, we find the command 'Fear not' recurring as a reminder to believers that despite the chaos and turmoil around them, Christ is present and sovereign. In Matthew 14:22-33, the disciples were terrified by the winds and waves, yet Jesus urged them to be of good cheer, revealing His power over creation. When we focus on Christ rather than our circumstances, we find peace and assurance, as He is the one who controls the storms of life.
