What does the Bible say about feeling safe?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that true safety comes from trusting in the Lord, not from feelings or circumstances.

Proverbs 29:25 states, 'The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.' This verse highlights that feelings of safety can be deceptive, as seen in the example of those who believed they were safe aboard the Titanic. True security comes from the presence of the Lord, as demonstrated when the disciples faced a storm yet remained secure because Jesus was with them. Our feelings fluctuate, but our trust in God's promises provides a foundation for true safety.
