What does the Bible say about finding peace in Jesus?

Answered in 3 sources

The Bible teaches that true peace comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who forgives sins and provides comfort.

In Luke 7:50, Jesus told a woman, 'Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.' This reflects the centrality of faith in obtaining peace. The women in the sermon sought Jesus amidst their troubles, illustrating that true peace can only be found by coming directly to Him, as He is the one who holds the power to forgive sins and grant peace. Furthermore, the authority of Christ to speak peace stems from His sacrificial death, where He bore the sins of many, fulfilling justice and making peace possible for all who believe in Him.
