What does the Bible say about God as our judge?

Scripture, particularly in Romans 10 and Isaiah 33:22, emphasizes that the Lord is our judge. This means that He establishes the standard by which all men will be judged—namely, the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. Those who fail to measure up to this standard are condemned. The natural man often resists this truth, preferring to assert their own ideas of righteousness, but God's judgment is solely based on Christ's perfect fulfillment of the law.
