The Bible teaches that in the beginning, God created all things by His will and for His glory (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16).
In Genesis 1:1, we read, 'In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.' This foundational truth affirms that God is the sovereign creator of all that exists. Everything began with Him, and nothing exists apart from His creative will. In Colossians 1:16, we see the comprehensive nature of God's creative work: 'For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible.' Therefore, God's role as creator is not only central to the narrative of Scripture but also essential in understanding His sovereignty over all aspects of creation and life. All creation operates under His authority and for His glory.
