What does the Bible say about God's ability to lie?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible states that God cannot lie because that would conflict with His perfect nature.

God's inability to lie stems from His nature as pure perfection. Omnipotence does not mean He can do anything arbitrarily; rather, it means He has total power over creation without compromising His holiness. Scripture affirms that God is incapable of any evil (Titus 1:2), including falsehood. Therefore, when we say He cannot lie, we understand that His nature is intrinsically good and truthful.
