What does the Bible say about God's anger and favor?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible shows that God can be both angry and favorably disposed toward His people, as seen in His dealings with Moses.

In Exodus 4, God expresses anger toward Moses for his objections and lack of faith in God's command. Despite Moses's faithlessness, God also showed His favor by promising His presence and assistance. This duality reveals God's nature in dealing with sin and grace; He is justly displeased by unbelief while simultaneously offering redemption and support to His chosen servants. In this context, Moses serves as both a reflection of our sinfulness and an example of God's grace at work.
