What does the Bible say about God's deliverance during trials?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God is our defense and delivers us from our enemies, as seen in Psalm 59.

In Psalm 59, David earnestly pleads for God's help during a dire situation where he is beset by enemies. He acknowledges that troubles may come, regardless of one's innocence or righteousness, but he finds hope and confidence in God's character as the Lord of Hosts and the covenant-keeping God of Israel. Each believer can trust that God sees their plight and is able to deliver them, regardless of how dire their circumstances may appear. This promise of deliverance is underscored by David's assertion of God's sovereignty and his ultimate control over all situations, even when we feel powerless.
