What does the Bible say about God's gift of wisdom?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's gift of wisdom rests in the heart of those who have understanding, bestowed by His grace.

According to Proverbs 14:33, wisdom is a divine gift that rests in the heart of him who has understanding. This understanding involves a recognition of one's own frailty and an acknowledgment of God's sovereignty and purpose. The gift of wisdom is found in the heart of the regenerate, who have received a new heart by God’s power, transforming them from rebellion to a desire for His glory and righteousness. Ezekiel 36:26 affirms this transformation when God promises to give His people a new heart and spirit. In this new heart, Christ Himself, who is the embodiment of wisdom, dwells and brings comfort and strength to His people, allowing them to rest in Him rather than in their own efforts.
