The Bible teaches that all human beings are lacking when weighed in God's scales of justice.

Scripture highlights that when God weighs humanity against His perfect standard, we all fall short. Proverbs 16:11 indicates that God's balances are designed for measuring integrity, but the deeper spiritual truth reveals that God weighs people in His justice. As stated in Daniel 5:27, we are all 'found wanting' when measured against Christ, the perfect stone, who fulfills God’s law. Without Christ, even our best efforts amount to nothing in the light of God's perfect justice.
