What does the Bible say about God's law in Galatians?

Answered in 1 source

Galatians teaches that God's law was given to expose sin and cannot annul His promises made to Abraham.

In Galatians 3, the Apostle Paul emphasizes the significance of God's law in relation to the covenant made with Abraham. The law was introduced 430 years after God's promise to Abraham and his seed—namely, Christ. Paul asserts that while the law serves an important purpose, it does not change or invalidate God's promises; rather, it complements them by revealing sin and pointing to the need for a Savior. Therefore, the law serves to highlight our need for grace and faith in Christ.
