What does the Bible say about God's people being willing?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's people will be willing in the day of His power, indicating a transformation enabled by God's grace.

In Psalm 110:3, the promise is made that 'Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power.' This implies that prior to this divine intervention, people are not willing due to the bondage of sin. By nature, we are unwilling to come to God and to bow to Christ. When God grants life, that sinner will come willingly, just as Lazarus did when he was called from the tomb. This readiness can only be realized through the saving power of Christ, which is a work of God’s grace and mercy, transforming unwilling hearts to willingly trust and believe in Him.
