What does the Bible say about God's preparation of Moses?

Answered in 1 source

God prepared Moses in the wilderness for 40 years, teaching him reliance on divine guidance rather than worldly wisdom.

In Exodus 3, we see how God took Moses from the palace of Pharaoh to the backside of the desert, a radical change meant to prepare him for his future leadership role. During his forty years in Midian, Moses was stripped of worldly qualifications and learned to depend solely on God's presence and instruction. This experience taught him vital lessons about humility and the necessity of divine preparation for ministry. In God's economy, natural qualifications are of little worth; spiritual readiness comes from communion with Him, as seen in 1 Corinthians 1:29, which states that no flesh can glory in His presence.
