What does the Bible say about God's requirements of us?

Answered in 1 source

God requires certain things from us, but He also provides what we need to fulfill those requirements.

Scripture teaches that whatever God requires of us, He performs for us and gives to us. For example, God requires satisfaction for our sins, which Christ accomplished at Calvary. He requires righteousness, which is fulfilled through Jesus Christ, our righteousness. When it comes to holiness, He demands that we be holy as He is holy, yet He grants us Christ, who embodies our holiness. Thus, every requirement from God reflects His grace and provision for His people, showing that our sufficiency comes from Him.
