What does the Bible say about God's satisfaction in salvation?

Answered in 1 source

God's satisfaction in salvation is wholly based on the work of Jesus Christ, not on our deeds or righteousness.

The Bible teaches that for God to be satisfied with the salvation of His people, it must be completely anchored in the work of Christ Jesus. Our inherent wickedness and deceitful hearts mean that nothing we do can ever fulfill God's standards of righteousness. In Isaiah 53, it is shown that the Lord is satisfied when He sees the travail of Christ's soul — a clear indicator that God's acceptance is tied only to Christ's obedience, sacrifice, and resurrection. Therefore, it is through Christ alone that we can be made acceptable to God.
