What does the Bible say about God's satisfaction with Christ's sacrifice?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God is fully satisfied with Christ's sacrifice for the sins of His people, as seen in Isaiah 53:11.

Isaiah 53:11 declares that when the Father sees the travail of the Son’s soul, He shall be satisfied. This means that God is completely pleased with the atonement that Christ has made on behalf of His people. Christ's sacrifice met all the demands of God's holy justice. Not only did He bear our sins, but He also fulfilled the law through His obedience. Thus, God's satisfaction with Christ's work is paramount to understanding salvation; it affirms that nothing more is required from us for our acceptance before God.
