What does the Bible say about God's strengthening of His people?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God often weakens the strength of His people to demonstrate His glory and grace.

In the Scriptures, we see examples where God weakens the strength of His people, such as Abraham, Sarah, and Elizabeth, who were made to wait until it seemed impossible for them to bear children. God does this not to discourage His people, but rather to remind them that His promises are fulfilled without human intervention. Throughout biblical history, God has allowed His people to experience weakness and affliction, allowing them to recognize their dependence on Him for strength and deliverance. This pattern continues in our lives today, as God's dealings with His children aim to glorify Himself through our weaknesses.
