What does the Bible say about God's thoughts on man?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible reveals that God is mindful of man despite mankind's insignificant nature compared to His greatness.

In Psalm 8:4, David poses the question, 'What is man that thou art mindful of him?' This encapsulates the amazement at God's attention towards humanity, seeming paradoxical given God's infinite greatness and holiness. God, as the self-existent creator and sovereign ruler of all, does not need anything from man, yet chooses to think about and care for him. It emphasizes God's grace that despite humanity's fallen state, where man cannot do anything good on his own, God still values his creation and chooses to pursue a relationship with him.
