What does the Bible say about God's work in the world?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible affirms that God has a work He is doing, evidenced throughout Scripture from creation to the establishment of His Church.

Scripture clearly indicates that God has a work in the world, a theme consistently echoed throughout the Bible. From the very beginning, when He created the world and man, we see God's involvement and purpose. Acts 15 states, 'Known unto God are all his works from the foundation of the world,' underscoring God's sovereign orchestration of history. Moreover, through figures such as Noah, Abraham, and Moses, we see how God called specific individuals to accomplish His purposes, culminating in the work of Christ and the establishment of the Church. Jesus Himself proclaimed, 'My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work' (John 4:34), indicating that fulfilling God's mission is central to His nature and calling.
