What does the Bible say about God using people?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible shows that God often uses those contrary to their natural abilities and desires to accomplish His will.

Throughout Scripture, we see that God uses individuals in ways that often defy human logic or expectation. For example, Moses initially resisted God's call due to his stutter, yet God chose him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt (Exodus 3-4). Similarly, the Apostle Paul, who once persecuted Christians, was transformed into one of the most fervent apostles proclaiming the Gospel to the Gentiles (Acts 9). This theme underscores that God's plans often clash with our natural inclinations, demonstrating His sovereign grace and power. As believers, we are reminded that God equips and empowers us to fulfill our roles, even when it appears contrary to our abilities.
