What does the Bible say about grace and cleansing from sin?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's grace cleanses us from our sin, making us pure in His sight, as seen in 2 Kings 5:14.

In 2 Kings 5:14, we see Naaman, a leper, who is humbled by God and obediently dips himself in the Jordan River seven times. This act is a profound illustration of how every sinner, when brought down by the Spirit of God, comes to receive Christ and is cleansed by His precious blood. Just as Naaman emerged from the water healed, so too does God's grace cleanse us from all unrighteousness, making us pure and perfect before Him. The gospel assures us that no matter how scarlet our sins may be, they can become as white as snow through faith in Christ.
