What does the Bible say about hatred for Christ?

The Scriptures affirm in John 15:25 that Jesus was hated without a cause, which fulfills prophecies found in the Old Testament, such as those in Psalm 69 and Psalm 22. The prophets foretold that Christ, our Redeemer, would be despised and rejected by men.
