What does the Bible say about having a need for a Savior?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that we are all in need of a Savior due to our fallen nature and sin.

In the Scriptures, such as Romans 3:23, we learn that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, establishing our need for salvation. The story of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5 illustrates this need perfectly, as she desperately sought healing that only Jesus could provide. Just as her physical ailment symbolized a deeper spiritual problem, our need for a Savior stems from our inherent sinfulness, which affects every part of our lives. This need is met through the grace of Jesus Christ, who bore the sins of many and offers us healing and recovery from our spiritual ailments on the cross.
