What does the Bible say about having assurance of faith?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible encourages believers to draw near to God with full assurance of faith in Christ's finished work.

Hebrews 10:22 invites believers to draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith. This assurance comes from having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience by Christ's blood, which was accepted by God on our behalf. Our confidence is not in our actions or feelings, but solely in the redemptive work of Jesus. As God's people, by trusting in Him alone, we can approach Him without fear and with the certainty of our acceptance, knowing that He promises to keep all who put their faith in Him.
