What does the Bible say about having one mediator?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

The apostle Paul writes in 1 Timothy 2:5 that there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. This truth underscores the uniqueness of Jesus as the only means of reconciliation between a holy God and sinful humanity. Unlike earthly mediators, who may represent conflicting interests, Christ alone fulfills the requirements of divine justice and holiness. His dual nature as both God and man allows Him to mediate perfectly for us. Thus, our access to God is entirely through Him, distinguishing Him from any other religious figure or system.
