What does the Bible say about having peace in tribulation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that peace is found in Christ, even amidst tribulation, as stated in John 16:33.

In John 16:33, Jesus reassures His disciples that while they will face tribulation in the world, they can have peace in Him because He has overcome the world. This passage illustrates the paradox of the Christian experience, where sorrow and joy coexist. God's Word addresses the realities of life, including sadness and grief, but ultimately leads to comfort and hope. In Christ, believers are promised peace which transcends circumstances, anchored in His triumph over sin and death. As followers of Christ, we can find solace in His assurance that He has already secured victory for us.
