What does the Bible say about hope for the hopeless?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that Christ is the ultimate hope for the hopeless, as He is sovereign over all trials and can bring salvation to those in despair.

In Mark chapters 4 and 5, we see powerful illustrations of Jesus as the Hope for the hopeless. The disciples were faced with a storm that drove them to fear for their lives, yet Jesus calmed the storm, demonstrating His authority over creation and assuring them of His presence through trials. In the story of Jairus and his dying daughter, despite the despair of death, Jesus affirmatively says that death does not have the final say, as He brings the girl back to life. Paul Mahan emphasizes that no one is too far gone or too hopeless for Christ to save, as He is sovereign over both spiritual and physical circumstances.
