What does the Bible say about how the Lord saves a sinner?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the Lord saves sinners solely by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

According to scripture, salvation comes exclusively from the Lord Jesus Christ and is always by grace. It is not determined by human works or the will of man, but entirely through the sovereign work of God. Our natural tendency is to view ourselves as unworthy of salvation and to rely on our own efforts, but the truth is that salvation is a gift from God, accomplished through the death and resurrection of Christ. Paul emphasizes that if left to ourselves, we would always judge ourselves unworthy of eternal life. Thus, it is imperative to understand that salvation is an act of divine grace, not human effort.
