The Bible teaches that believers know they are God's own by believing in Him and the power of the gospel manifest in their lives.

According to 1 Thessalonians 1:4-7, the assurance of one's election is found in the effectiveness of the gospel in their lives. When the gospel comes with power and in the Holy Spirit, it transforms believers, leading them to follow Christ and producing genuine faith. Additionally, 2 Timothy 1:12 highlights that knowing whom you have believed is central to assurance; faith in Jesus as the personal Savior is the mark of being one of God's chosen.
