What does the Bible say about Jehovah's servant?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible refers to Jehovah's servant as Jesus Christ, who perfectly fulfills God's will and works for the redemption of His people.

In Isaiah 42, God declares, 'Behold my servant, whom I uphold, mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth.' This servant is Jesus Christ, who fulfills the role of a servant perfectly and impeccably. He was chosen by God to bring forth judgment to the Gentiles and execute redemptive plans flawlessly. Unlike humanity, which can only offer unprofitable service, Jehovah's servant brings salvation to the elect, satisfying divine justice while justifying sinners. Christ's fulfillment as the servant emphasizes His unique qualification and divine authority as both God and man.
