What does the Bible say about Jesus as Judge?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible depicts Jesus as the ultimate Judge, ruling with wisdom and justice, as shown in passages like 1 Kings 3 and Hebrews 4:12.

In the biblical account, particularly in 1 Kings 3:16-28, we see Solomon, a type of Christ, serving as a wise judge. In the same way, Jesus, as the risen King, embodies the fullness of wisdom and the authority to judge righteously. As the Father has committed all judgment to the Son, Christ exercises His rule over all things for the good of His church. He is the one before whom all will stand, and His judgments are perfectly just and true (John 5:22). Furthermore, in Hebrews 4:12, we are reminded that the Word of God, which Jesus personifies, discerns thoughts and intents of the heart, affirming His role as the ultimate judge of mankind.
