What does the Bible say about Jesus as Mediator?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus is our sole mediator between God and man, fulfilling the role that only He can through His righteousness.

The Bible clearly states that there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). He serves as our advocate and intercessor, emphasizing that no one can approach God without the mediation of Christ. Just as the Israelites required Moses to communicate with God at Sinai, we too must have Christ pleading on our behalf. When we come to God in prayer, we do so in His name, representing our dependence on His righteousness and holiness rather than our own.
