What does the Bible say about Jesus as the Word of God?

According to Hebrews 1:1-2, God spoke in various ways throughout history, but in these last days, He has spoken through His Son, Jesus Christ. This places Jesus not merely as one among many prophets but as the singular and complete revelation of God. All previous revelations through the prophets were types and shadows that pointed to Him.
