What does the Bible say about Jesus being our provision?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Jesus is our daily provision and sustenance, just as manna was for the Israelites in the wilderness.

In Hebrews 9:1-4, we see a typology of Jesus being our daily provision expressed through the manna that God provided for the Israelites. Just as the Israelites relied on manna for physical sustenance during their pilgrimage, Christians rely on Christ as their ultimate provision for spiritual sustenance. Every day, He provides not only for our physical needs but also our spiritual needs as we journey through life. Christ is our bread of life, meaning that He is essential for our spiritual nourishment and sustenance in this wilderness of life until we reach our eternal inheritance in heaven.
