What does the Bible say about Jesus Christ's glorification?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ was glorified by the Father after His obedience and sacrifice.

According to John 17, Jesus prays for His glorification, stating that it is the result of His obedience to the Father’s will, even unto death. In Philippians 2:9-11, we see that God's response to Christ's humility and sacrifice was to exalt Him and give Him a name above all names. This act of glorification signifies that Jesus, as the God-man, holds a position of ultimate authority and honor in the divine plan of salvation.
