What does the Bible say about Jesus knowing our thoughts?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that Jesus knows the thoughts of our hearts, exposing our hidden motives.

In Matthew 9:1-26, we see a demonstration of Jesus's divine knowledge when He perceives the thoughts of the scribes. They criticized Him for forgiving the paralytic's sins, believing it to be blasphemy. Yet Christ, knowing their hidden thoughts, challenged them directly. This exemplifies Hebrews 4:13, which states, 'All things are naked and laid open before the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.' This teaches us that nothing is concealed from Christ, urging us to live humbly and with awareness of His omniscience.
