What does the Bible say about Jesus understanding our pain?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Jesus can empathize with our suffering because He was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).

Hebrews 4:15 assures us that Jesus, our high priest, is not untouched by our struggles. Unlike earthly priests who may be sheltered from real-world hardships, Jesus experienced temptation and suffering in profound ways. He understands our griefs and sorrows because He bore them Himself. This truth provides comfort and encourages believers to approach Him confidently, knowing He cares deeply for our infirmities and can sympathize fully with our struggles.
