What does the Bible say about knowing God without Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

A person can recognize there is a God and know something about Him apart from Christ, but cannot know Him intimately without Jesus.

Scripture reveals that individuals can have a general awareness of God through creation. For instance, Psalm 19:1 states that the heavens declare the glory of God, while Romans 1 teaches that men are without excuse for not glorifying Him. However, this knowledge does not equate to a personal relationship. True communion and understanding of God can only be achieved through Jesus Christ, as indicated in John 14:6 where Jesus states, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.' Without Christ, one cannot know God in a saving and intimate manner.
