What does the Bible say about making Jesus king?

In John 6:14-15, we see people wanting to make Jesus king after witnessing His miracle of feeding the 5,000. However, this desire stems from a misunderstanding of His kingship. Jesus departs because His kingship is not something we can impose through our will; He is King by divine authority. Psalm 2 reminds us that God establishes His King on His holy hill, affirming that it is God who sets leaders in their place, not human efforts.
