What does the Bible say about missions for Calvinists?

Answered in 1 source

Calvinists engage in missions because they believe God uses preaching to call His chosen people to salvation.

Calvinists actively participate in missions because they recognize God has ordained the means of preaching to bring His elect to faith. They understand that while God has chosen those who will be saved, it is their responsibility and privilege to share the gospel widely. As stated in the sermon, 'we recognize our responsibility and our great privilege.' Calvinist missionaries preach the gospel of God's free grace, declaring that God's word will accomplish its purpose, as promised in Isaiah 55:11.
