What does the Bible say about our altar in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Christ is our altar, priest, and sacrifice, satisfying God's justice and offering complete acceptance to believers.

In Hebrews 13:10, we affirm that we have an altar which is not a material one but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. He fulfills the role of the Old Testament altar by being both the priest and the sacrifice. Under the Levitical law, an altar, a priest, and a sacrifice were necessary for worship; with Christ's sacrifice, all these requirements are perfectly met. He is the perfect, sinless offering that pleases God, and through Him, believers are wholly accepted.
